Position Summary
The Regional Sales Representative‑Healthcare (RSRH) is a field‑based sales role responsible for identifying, engaging, and signing family physicians and specialists to the eConsult Canada platform. Operating within an assigned Alberta region, the RSRH manages the full sales cycle, from prospecting through physician activation, and works closely with Physician Account Managers and the internal operations team to meet monthly targets. This high‑activity, relationship‑driven role is suited to a self‑motivated sales professional with experience in medical, healthcare, or pharmaceutical sales.
Compensation
Salary Range: $65,000 – $75,000 CAD per annum + commission (total on‑target year one earnings of ~$150,000). Full Time position located in Edmonton, AB.
What You Will Be Doing
- Own and grow a defined Alberta region, building and managing a pipeline of physician and clinic prospects.
- Execute structured outreach campaigns across rural, semi‑rural, and urban clinic settings using both cold and warm prospecting strategies.
- Deliver clear, compelling presentations and demonstrations of the eConsult Canada platform to physicians, specialists, clinic owners, and medical directors.
- Tailor messaging to different physician audiences and practice environments, with a robust understanding of market needs and competitive context.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, manage pipeline activity, and provide regular reporting and forecasting updates.
- Build referral and partnership channels through physician advocates, PCNs, AHS programs, universities, and other healthcare stakeholders.
- Represent eConsult Canada at conferences, meetings, and community events across the region.
- Partner with internal teams to support smooth onboarding and early physician engagement following sign‑up.
You Have
- Driven, ambitious sales professional with a true hunter mentality.
- 2–5+ years of outside sales experience, ideally in healthcare or a related sector.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a self‑directed, field‑based role.
- Strong hunter mindset, drive and resilience to build pipeline through consistent outreach and follow‑up.
- Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and presentation skills.
- Comfort managing a structured sales process across a large region using CRM tools and disciplined pipeline practices.
- Experience working with physicians, clinic operators, or other regulated healthcare professionals preferred.
- Familiarity with Alberta’s primary care landscape is an asset.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly within the assigned region; a valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle are required.
- Post‑secondary education in a relevant field preferred, though equivalent experience will be considered.
