Drive electrical design and documentation as an Electrical Designer. Collaborate with various departments to translate customer needs into detailed electrical and control system designs in a manufacturing workplace.
This role focuses on creating comprehensive electrical drawings, including panel layouts and wiring diagrams. You will work closely with Engineering, Sales, Service, and Manufacturing teams to ensure designs meet customer specifications. The successful candidate will also engage in machine setup, PLC programming, and troubleshooting, contributing to project success through hands-on support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed 3-phase and low-voltage DC electrical drawings
• Create electrical bills of materials and purchased parts lists
• Process sales and work orders to confirm customer requirements
• Support machine setups through PLC program transfers
• Assist in troubleshooting and installations of electrical systems
Requirements:
• Degree/diploma in Electrical Engineering is required
• Experience with AutoCAD and EPLAN is beneficial
• Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations essential
• Ability to read electrical ladder diagrams and troubleshoot
• Willingness to travel occasionally and work overtime
