Design and supervise crucial electrical systems as an Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls Engineer in Training (EIT). Work in a hybrid model leading projects for water and wastewater treatment facilities across Western Canada and the USA.
As an EIT, your role encompasses designing electrical power and distribution systems, as well as supervision of drawings and specifications for electrical automation systems. Responsibilities also include adhering to project standards and ensuring quality project deliverables. Engage with contractors and perform critical site inspections throughout all project phases.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design electrical power and distribution systems
• Supervise production of system drawings and specifications
• Ensure adherence to quality and project standards
• Perform site inspections and issue inspection reports
• Provide technical support during project phases
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/I&C; Engineering
• 2 years related engineering design experience
• Registered or able to register as EIT with APEGA
• Knowledge of electrical design software
• Robust critical-thinking and communication skills
