Become a vital part of mental health care as a Part-Time Emergency Psychiatric Liaison Nurse. Deliver exceptional patient-centered care while collaborating with diverse healthcare teams in a rewarding environment.
This role focuses on crisis intervention and direct care for psychiatric patients in an Emergency Department. You will conduct assessments, develop care plans, and ensure effective patient flow for mental health services. The position requires working closely with various healthcare professionals to adapt plans according to individual psychiatric needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform psychosocial assessments for patients in crisis
• Develop and oversee individualized care plans with physicians
• Document assessments and patient interactions accurately




• Liaise with departments to facilitate timely patient transfers
• Advocate for patients with community service providers
Requirements:
• Graduation from a recognized School of Nursing
• Current registration as a Nurse or Psychiatric Nurse
• One year of experience in mental health settings
• Solid communication and crisis intervention skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team
