This permanent full time role focuses on assisting youth with complex mental health and behavior needs. You will guide them through daily routines, providing structured support and ensuring safety during crises. Open availability for a 4-on, 4-off shift rotation is essential, covering days and overnights to deliver constant care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist youth in daily activities and routines
• Support therapeutic approaches for treatment
• Maintain a structured environment for skill development
• Collaborate with a transdisciplinary team for treatment plans
• Manage crisis situations and co-regulate distressed youth
Requirements:
• Experience with individuals with complex behaviors
• Open availability for rotating shifts
• Diploma or degree in a related field preferred
• Class 5 Alberta driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
• Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search required
