Who We're Looking For
Requirements:
- Registered (or eligible for registration) with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution
- >1 year clinical experience in orthopaedic and/or sports physiotherapy (new grads with relevant placements will also be considered)
- Experience providing physiotherapy to active, goal -driven clients of various athletic abilities
- Excellent exercise prescription skills, manual therapy skills, clinical reasoning and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada (Canadian citizen or permanent resident).
- Valid professional liability insurance
Assets(Preferred but Not Required):
AIM Level 1 or higher (Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association)
Acupuncture or Dry Needling certification
Experience with on-field or return-to-sport programming for athletes
Interest or additional training in concussion management, TMJ, or running/biomechanical assessments
Comfort using electronic medical records (EMRs) and managing an outpatient caseload
