We’re currently recruiting for an Inspire Vancouver Program Grant Coordinator. The primary responsibilities for the job are to Support the administration and delivery of grants for Vancouver‘s Cultural Access Program, funding non-profit organizations and the Vancouver and Evergreen Public School Districts. Support application and review processes, provide technical assistance to applicants, monitor funded projects, and ensure compliance with program guidelines. Provide guidance, coordination and logistical support for nonprofit organizations approved to develop and provide high-quality educational programming and teacher development opportunities in Vancouver and Evergreen School Districts. Provide support in planning, coordination, and production of public events, workshops, focus groups and presentations. This is a full-time, regular, non-exempt position. The schedule for this position is M-F, 8am to 5pm.## **Job Details****Essential Functions:*** Responsible for completing program duties as assigned, including research, program planning, implementation, program monitoring, and budgeting. Recommend and assist in implementation of Cultural Access Program goals and objectives.* Oversee contract administration associated with grant awards. Process applications, invoices, and grant reports. Ensure compliance with program policies and accountability for public funding. Monitor compliance with contract requirements and program regulations and address grievances and performance concerns.* Administer Cultural Access grants program database, managing the online granting process, grant portal, grant review and reporting systems. Implement program changes based on effectiveness and participant needs. Maintain program records.* Provide one-on-one information and guidance to grant applicants and recipients, providing clear communication throughout entire lifecycle of grant. Support and maintain relationships within the local and regional nonprofit cultural community.* Act as program liaison for school district staff and non-profit youth education providers.
Support collaboration and facilitate communication of program opportunities and requirements. Support non-profit youth education providers to understand curriculum needs and school-specific procedures and requirements.* Represent Vancouver’s Cultural Access Program in the community by planning, coordinating, and delivering presentations, workshops, trainings, and informational materials to increase program awareness among non-profits and youth education providers.* Assist with developing and attaining program goals and objectives through effective program planning, communication, problem-solving and implementation. Participate in ongoing program assessment and continuous improvement efforts that support Vancouver’s Cultural Access program.* maintain program standards and administer program within legal requirements. Review program performance to identify emerging issues. Maintain awareness of Cultural Access Programs in other jurisdictions.* Provide administrative support for grant review committees of the Culture, Arts & Heritage Commission, including committee onboarding, scheduling, agenda preparation, grant scoring criteria and consideration, memos and reports. Prepare and Present materials to support review committee decision-making and summary materials for the Culture, Arts & Heritage Commission.* Prepare written, statistical and financial reports of program activities and expenditures. Track program budgets and monitor expenditures. Provide verbal reports and presentations on program implementation and effectiveness to the Culture, Arts & Heritage Commission.* Maintain a list of appropriate off-site cultural experiences and a list of appropriate on-site cultural experiences for each grade level, every year and distribute to schools.* Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.## **Qualifications****Experience and Education*** 4 years of experience working with grants in arts, culture, heritage and science sector.* Associate's degree in art, cultural studies, or public administration* Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.**Computer Skills -** Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.**Required Licenses and/or Certifications -** possession of a valid driver's license**Knowledge*** Principles and practices of grant management and administration* Experience working in the arts,
