Our large, enterprise Oil & Gas industry client is seeking a Senior D365 F&O Data Migration Lead to define data migration scope, strategies, and cutover plans.
This is an initial contract until end of year with a solid possibility of extension. The successful candidate will be based in Calgary and agreeable to working full-time onsite downtown Calgary.
Must-Haves:
- At least 2 to 3 end-to-end projects completing large-scale, multi-faceted ERP data migration conversions into Dynamics 365
- Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 FO Data Models and data management (data import, export, and manipulation)
- Experience in Data Migration from AX 2009/2012 to D365 FO
- Proven experience on AX 2012/Dynamics 365 FO related data integration such as AP, AR, or EDI, and similar
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience working in B2B, B2C domain
- Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL
- Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.
- Knowledge and experience mapping source to target data including complex transformations within SSIS or via coded extensions
Responsibilities Overview:
- Lead data migration developers and analysts
- Define data migration scope, approach, tools, and timeline
- Define cutover plans and rollback strategies
- Work with functional teams to define source-to-target mappings
- Design staging and transformation models
- Extract data from legacy systems
- Cleanse and transform data to meet D365 requirements
- Manage bulk data uploads and recurring interfaces into Data Management Framework (DMF) for D365 FO and Azure Data Factory
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in D365
