Job Description: We are now hiring Production Supervisors on behalf of our client in the military manufacturing industry. This role provides hands‑on leadership to a team of 30–45 unionized employees, ensuring production goals are met safely, efficiently, and in alignment with quality, cost, and delivery expectations.

The successful candidate will lead day‑to‑day operations on the manufacturing floor, provide guidance to employees, maintain workflow stability, and support a culture of safety and respect. This position collaborates closely with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and HR to uphold company policies, drive continuous improvement, and ensure full compliance with the Collective Agreement.

Job Location: Ingersoll, ON

Job Type: Full-time, permanent.

Compensation: $65,200 - $92,600 + excellent benefits + profit sharing + tuition reimbursement and more!

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead and motivate a large team in a unionized manufacturing environment.

· Apply company policies, procedures, and Collective Agreement provisions with consistency and fairness.

· Make sound operational decisions and escalate issues when required.

· Balance production priorities while upholding strict safety and quality standards.

· Work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams to support smooth operations.

· Respond quickly to operational challenges to reduce downtime and maintain workflow.

Requirements/Qualifications:

- Post-secondary education in Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or related is highly preferred
- Supervisor training or equivalent leadership experience in a manufacturing environment is considered a strong asset
- Minimum 5+ years’ leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
- Prior experience working within a unionized environment preferred

· Prior experience supporting production operations within a multi-shift manufacturing environment





- Understanding of manufacturing processes and production workflow management
- Experience monitoring production metrics including throughput, utilization, and downtime
- Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Operational Process Control (OPC) quality systems
- Experience coordinating production schedules and material flow within manufacturing operations
- Knowledge of furnace operations and forklift operations considered an asset
- Working knowledge of manufacturing facility security and compliance requirements (e.g. CMMC or similar frameworks)
