As a key member of the Stampede Toyota team, and reporting to the Sales Manager, the Evening Receptionist plays a vital role in creating a positive and professional experience for all customers.
Stampede Toyota is seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a part-time Receptionist at our Calgary location.
Summary
The Part-Time Receptionist is responsible for serving as the first point of contact for customers, both in person and over the phone.
This role involves directing inquiries to the appropriate departments, supporting daily administrative tasks, and ensuring a smooth and positive customer experience.
The Receptionist also maintains accurate records and assists various departments as needed to support overall dealership operations.
Major Responsibilities
- Greet all customers in a professional and courteous manner and determine the nature of their visit.
- Direct customers to the correct department.
- Notify the appropriate person that a customer is waiting and introduce them to a salesperson.
- Answer incoming calls, direct callers to the appropriate department or individual, or take detailed messages.
- Communicate with callers and visitors in a professional, friendly and efficient manner.
- Obtain basic demographic information about each customer, using an ups card, a computer system, a log sheet or other method established by the dealership.
- Enter data into prospect tracking system and run prospect reports for managers weekly.
- Communicate messages to the appropriate parties in a timely manner.
- Type memos, correspondence, reports and other documents.
- Assist service customers during the evening service rush whenever possible.
- Assist with clerical duties as requested.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
- Other tasks as assigned.
- Monday to Thursday: 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturdays: 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of customer service, retail or sales experience preferred.
- Desire to learn about the Automotive Industry and take initiative to understand the customer experience.
- Friendly, approachable and positive personality driven to excel at customer service.
- Professional and able to work directly with a diverse group of clienteles.
- Detail oriented and organized.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada.
