About the OpportunitynThe company is currently seeking a Structural Engineer to join their team for a seismic upgrade project. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a large-scale infrastructure initiative, with direct involvement in the planning and execution of structural works.

About the PositionnThis is an On-site Structural Engineer.You will be responsible for supporting field operations through the design and implementation of temporary and permanent structural components. This role requires a collaborative approach, working closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders to ensure engineering standards are upheld throughout the construction process.

Responsibilities: Collaborate with field teams to develop concepts and designs for temporary structural solutions Prepare detailed technical drawings and schematics in coordination with internal and external engineering teams

Design temporary works, including concrete formwork, access systems,



and lift plans Review and approve subcontractor shop drawings and welding procedures Perform material take-offs and generate bills of materials

n

Conduct quality checks to ensure structural work meets specifications Provide support during fabrication of temporary and permanent steel structures Maintain consistent progress reporting to clients, management, and project teams

Engage with clients, consultants, engineers, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle Ensure compliance with quality assurance programs and regulatory standards Requirements:

Post-secondary degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related fieldnRegistration as a P.Eng. with EGBC or working towards itnMinimum 3–5 years of structural engineering experience, preferably on large infrastructure projectsnExperience in hydroelectric projects is considered an assetnFamiliarity with WorkSafe BC regulationsnProficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, BlueBeam, AutoCAD, and related softwarenAbility to work at heights and in varying outdoor conditionsnBenefits & Perks:
