Retail Photo Lab Associate – Ivan’s Camera

Ivan’s Camera is opening a new store in Charlottetown this summer, and we’re looking for a detail‑oriented and customer‑friendly Retail Photo Lab Associate to join our team!

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with photos, technology, and customers. You’ll be helping people turn their digital images into high‑quality prints and photo products while keeping the photo lab running smoothly. You don’t need previous photo lab experience—we provide full training. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are what matter most.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your role will focus on photo lab services, with some general retail support, including:

- Assisting customers with photo printing, enlargements, and photo products
- Operating photo lab equipment and in‑store computer systems
- Reviewing photo orders for quality, accuracy, and colour consistency
- Explaining photo options and helping customers choose the right products
- Completing photo orders and preparing them for customer pickup
- Keeping the photo lab clean, organized, and well stocked
- Supporting general store operations, including opening, closing, and cash handling as needed

What We’re Looking For

- Comfortable communicating in English (spoken and written)
- Detail‑oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
- Comfortable working with computers and technology
- An interest in photography, printing,



or digital images is a strong asset
- Retail, lab, or customer service experience is helpful but not required

Position Details

- Full‑time position (40 hours per week)
- Saturday availability required on a rotating schedule
