Security Guard – Seasonal Full Time (May–October 2026)

Location: Haldimand County, ON
Pay: $20.00 per hour

Important: Applicants must be local to the Haldimand County area. This is an in office position, and local availability is required.

About the Role:
Knights Beach Resort is seeking reliable and responsible Security Guards for the 2026 season (May 15 to October 14). This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and take pride in maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for guests.

Candidates must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

- Patrol resort grounds and monitor the front gate

· Utilising reservation software to verify guest information and create reservations as necessary.

- Check in late-arriving guests
- Deliver firewood as needed
- Verify guest tags to ensure compliance with reservation dates
- Conduct regular checks of washroom facilities
- Identify and report irregularities, hazards, or suspicious activity
- Keep daily log of this
- Enforce resort policies and procedures
- Maintain a safe,



respectful, and orderly environment for all guests
- Ensure quiet hours are observed (radios off at 11:00 PM)
- Complete nightly lock-up and safety procedures
- Maintain accurate logs of incidents and observations
- Act as a liaison between resort management and local authorities when required

Qualifications:

- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and remain alert during night shifts
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Previous security or customer service experience is an asset
- Valid Ontario security licence is preferred
