Insight Global is hiring a Systems Specialist to support a large client. In this role, you will handle system start-ups, checkouts, and troubleshooting for installed projects.

n

You'll also be responsible for providing guidance to contractors and directing subcontractors as needed.

n

Acting as a key point of contact with customers, you will help maintain strong client relationships and high levels of customer satisfaction.

n

This is a hands-on field role, typically working at commercial, industrial, and institutional construction sites or occupied facilities.

n

The position is 100% field-based with travel throughout the Toronto (GTA) area.

Required Skills & Experience:

n

- Requires three years of college or technical school (electrical, mechanical, or control engineering) or equivalent combination of education and related practical experience
- 2+ years of direct experience working with Building Automation Systems, (Candidates with less experience will also be considered)
- BAS programming
- Commissioning and start-ups
- Communication Protocols: BACnet, Modbus, TCP/IP, MSTP
- Positive knowledge of building systems and relevant standards

-Proven diagnostic skills; able to systematically identify and resolve technical problems

n





- Self-motivated and calm under pressure
- Commercially and technically aware
- IT literate
- A valid and unrestricted G/Class 5 driver's license is required to participate in the Fleet Program and to operate a company vehicle for travel to customer sites within assigned region

- Knowledge of building mechanical systems; and understanding of the Building Code as it pertains to automation

Compensation

n

$65K - $95K per year + full benefits packages

n

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

n

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as short-term and long-term disability, life insurance and AD&D.; Employees will also have access to a registered retirement savings account with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
