- Transport materials and loads between site locations.

n-Complete daily equipment and vehicle checklists, inspect truck equipment, such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil and water. Maintain truck log, according to MTO regulations.n

-Assist mechanic with preventative maintenance of vehicles, keep trucks clean and in good condition.

n

-Maintain valid Ontario AZ or DZ driver’s license and insurable abstract.

n

-Generate daily truck rental sheets for Company invoicing.

n

-Promote a safe working environment by participating in tailgate/safety meetings; identification of hazards; and ensure proper use of PPE.

n

- Able to work Monday through Friday 7:00 am-5:30 pm, with ability to work until 6:30 pm if needed

n

Qualifications:

n-A minimum of 3 years driving experience is requiredn

-Construction experience preferred

n

-Valid A or D Class Driver’s license, Air Brake Endorsement (Z)

n

-Clean abstract and CVOR

n

-Driver record check and license validity check

n

-Secondary (high school) certificate or equivalent

n

-Excellent communication skills
