As the Head Butcher you will be responsible for many different aspects of what makes Ribeye an exceptional butcher shop.

Responsibilities:

n

- Opening and/or closing of the shop
- Leads and motivates the butcher team, ensuring smooth daily operations and goal achievement
- Sausage making and grinding meats - utilizing all trim efficiently to reduce waste
- Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat roasts
- Cut carcasses, sides and quarters of beef
- Maximizes sales potential through efficient prepping, storing, rotating, stocking and merchandising
- Ensure all customers are receiving that ‘wow’ experience




- Work to the Ribeye Shop Core Values

nWhat do you need?n

- 1 years in related position
- 1 year butcher experience
- Whole animal butchery experience
- Food Safe Certificate
- Passion for the craft of butchery, naturally raised meats, and animal welfare
- Strong ability to communicate effectively
- Ambition and drive to create the best experience for your team and customers
- A drive to find solutions rather than point out problems
- Availability for shifts between 10:00 AM to 7:00PM.
