Responsibilities

Assist with baking and food preparation, including measuring ingredients and mixing dough or batter
Decorate cakes and pastries using various techniques such as cake decorating to create visually appealing products
Package baked goods efficiently for sale or delivery, ensuring presentation quality
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas in compliance with food safety standards
Support the team in stocking supplies and managing inventory levels
Provide friendly customer service by answering questions about products and assisting customers with selections
Follow all food handling protocols to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met at all times
Help with cleaning,
sanitation, and general maintenance of equipment and workspaces

Skills
n
Experience in cake decorating is highly desirable
Previous restaurant or food industry experience is a plus, especially in food preparation or cooking
Strong knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
Ability to perform food packaging efficiently while maintaining quality standards
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
Kitchen experience including baking, food safety practices, and basic cooking techniques
Ability to work quickly and accurately in a quick-paced setting
Good organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and cleanliness
