The Client Care Coordinator provides customer service and administrative support to the organization by obtaining, analyzing and verifying the accuracy of a prescription or request, in a timely manner. The Client Care Coordinator will initiate and/or implement corrections as needed in order to ensure that an excellent standard of service and a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide customer service through phone calls from clients, accepting orders, providing information and directing calls.
- Ensure high level of professional customer service, with a positive attitude.
- Responds to customer service inquiries including assessing customer needs to ensure proper recommendation of equipment/supplies.
- Schedule appointments for CPAP clients
- Learn and familiarize the Ministry of Health Assistive Device Program process and application
- Able to provide support to clinical team, with knowledge of devices and equipment provided to clients. Provide support to clients and assist with mask fittings and in office/ store duties.
- Problem solving by identifying and assessing individual client needs and taking appropriate action to satisfy those needs.
- Contributes to team effort by working with and supporting other staff members to achieve optimal customer service.
- Making followup calls with clients on a timely manner.
- Assist with the upkeep of trial equipment.
- Forward physician and other multidisciplinary health care worker calls to clinical staff.
- Follow up with physicians and clinical sites in regards to outstanding paperwork.
- Assist the finance manager with A/R reports and follow up with outstanding payments.
Qualifications
- minimum 1 year healthcare experience
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
- Strong ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service and organizational skills.
- Able to work independently and with a team.
- Fluent in English. Second language is an asset.
- Medical terminology certificate is an asset.
Job Types: Part time, Permanent
Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 14 – 24 per week
