- Health Benefit Plan About the Opportunity - Own and maintain the company’s financial forecast and operating model, including scenario analysis and updates to reflect changes in business strategy
- Update cashflow forecasts monthly reflecting historical actuals and on-going revisions to strategy
- Ensure company is tax compliant in all jurisdictions it operates
- Support the drafting, editing, and revision of legal contracts in support of business requirements and customer portfolios
- Oversee technology requirements including office IT infrastructure, among others
- Other roles and responsibilities as requested by the CEO
- Lead strategic projects and operational improvements
- Oversee and review accounting and bookkeeping duties, including managing the integrity and accuracy of the books of account, sales invoicing, procurement, A/R and A/P
- Oversee payroll, employee expenses, and commission payout for accurate and quick processing
- Oversee bookkeepers to ensure correct categorization of transactions, accruals, and reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and oversee year-end audit proces
- Develop and manage schedules for contracts, including required milestones, deadlines, and tracking systems
- Support the company’s administrative, IT, and human resources functions
- Provide financial, KPI, and PI reporting to management, board members, investors, and lenders
- Prepare materials and analysis for board meetings, investor updates,



and strategic planning discussions About You - Experience working in a high-growth start-up and SaaS business
- CPA designation
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline
- 5+ years’ experience in an accounting or finance role
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and Excel
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Expert ability to produce meaningful metrics and in analyzing customer accounts to identify churn signals, account growth and retention opportunities, and ways to expand adoption and increase value
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present analysis and findings in both verbal and written formats, presenting financial presentations for board meetings, shareholders, etc.
- Passionate, detailed orientated and self-starter, who has the desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial organization
- You must have scale-up culture in your DNA and get energized by “all hands-on deck” setting
