Join us in empowering Venezuelan migrants, refugees, and vulnerable Peruvian communities, especially women, LGBTQ2IA+, and indigenous peoples, by building their capacity for self-employment and boosting income-generating activities.

n

Cuso is seeking a passionate professional like you to make a meaningful impact through our development projects across Lima, Piura, Arequipa, and Ica, Peru. This is your chance to inspire and equip young people and vulnerable groups with the skills to launch and grow their own businesses.

n

As a volunteer, you will:

n

- Assist in executing the Entrepreneur Strengthening Program, with the objective of completing 12 iterations of this program.
- Assist in carrying out the Psychosocial Support Program, aiming for 100 participants to successfully complete it.
- Assist in the implementation of the MUCURA Program, striving for 50 participants to finish the program.
Essential Qualifications:

n

- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Experience with livelihood issues and social development projects.
- Proficient in office software tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Essential Background:

n

- Experience in the planning and execution of social projects.




- Proven experience in facilitating courses or workshops.
- Knowledge of the migratory and economic situation of the Venezuelan refugee and migrant population.

Cuso International provides a comprehensive support package to ensure volunteers maintain a modest and healthy lifestyle aligned with local standards. This includes:

- Monthly living allowance
- Accommodation
- Health insurance (including required vaccinations and antimalarial medication)
- Round-trip airfare and visa/work permit costs
- Pre-placement, in-country and reintegration training (along with access to self-directed materials and online resources)
- Ongoing local support

Selection and Screening

If you are shortlisted, you will need to:

- Confirm passport or permanent resident details for travel
- Provide two qualified references and one personal reference
- Complete a language assessment during the initial phone interview
- Pass a police check and medical clearance before departure
- Comply with anti-terrorism checks
- Agree to uphold the Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) policy and Code of Conduct
Residency and Citizenship: Candidates are responsible for confirming how volunteering internationally may affect their citizenship or residency status.
