File Hills Qu’Appelle Tribal Council is a dynamic and progressive organization that provides a range of programs and health services to serve the eleven First Nations throughout Southern Saskatchewan within the Treaty Four Territory. All Nation’s Holding Corp, an entity of FHQTC, is recruiting 2 additional physicians to work from our newly constructed Kihew Waciston Eagles Nest Primary Care Clinic, located on the grounds of in Fort Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan.

Pysicians working at Eagles Nest Primary Care Clinic provide primary health care services to the residents of Fort Qu’Appelle, the File Hills Qu’Appelle Tribal Council member nations and in surrounding communities and rural municipalities. Supported by an interdisciplinary team, physicians provide high-quality care to patients throughout their life span, including those with chronic and complex conditions. Our organization takes an innovative and wholistic approach to care with the incorporation of First Nations Health Practitioners to provide cultural and traditional support services.

Physicians work closely with cultural practitioners to provide culturally responsive care to clients to meet their wholistic health care needs. The clinic is also home to nursing, MOAs, visiting specialists and medical residents. Monthly physician outreach clinics are provided within the FHQTC member nations to improve access to primary health care.

In addition to providing care in community, physicians work at The All Nations Healing Hospital, a 14-bed facility which provides a wide range of fully integrated services including: 24-hour acute, palliative, emergency, laboratory, radiology and visiting specialist services. We are also home to ,
(inclusive of satellite dialysis and chronic disease clinic), , telehealth services and nearby . On-call responsibilities for the emergency room, hospital inpatients, home care and long-term care residents, as well as for critical lab values are shared equitably among physicians in the community.

Relocation Package The successful candidate may be eligible for:
n
- The (RPIP) which provides up to $200,000 over five years to family physicians practicing, or returning to practice, in rural and remote communities in Saskatchewan
- The , which provides financial reward to physicians who practice in the province for extended periods ranging from $7,000 - $14,000 per year for fulltime work
- Local Recruitment and Retention incentive package for Return for Service commitment

Job Qualifications
n
- Certified or eligible to be certified with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)
- Regular or Provisional License with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS) (or eligible to be licensed)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
n
- Recommended - Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Valid driver’s license
- An understanding of traditional medicine and cultural practices and ability to collaborate with Cultural Practitioners to meet client care needs

- Successful credentialing including but not limited to acceptable reference checks and criminal record check with vulnerable sector
- Current Canadian Medical Protective Association coverage
- Legal entitlement to work in Canada
