nThe Pincher Creek Co-op is currently accepting applications for a Gas Pump Attendant to join our team. This is a temporary part-time position to cover a maternity leave, with an anticipated start date as soon as possible.n

The successful candidate will report to the Gas Bar Manager.

The details of the responsibilities are as follows:

n

RESPONSIBILITIES

n· Responsible to provide information, assistance, and exceptional customer service to all customers.n

· Promptly and efficiently handle customer interactions, correctly handling payment options, engaging the team leader when required if errors are made. Be familiar with all bulletins, memos, promotions, and updates posted.

n

· Assist in ensuring that the Gas Bar is ready for business at the start of the day and secured at the end by taking out/putting away merchandise, pulling out/retracting the air hose, setting up/taking down the window washing stations, opening/closing the propane dispenser, recording tank gauge readings on propane tank, and any cardlock pump readings.

n

· Performs general housekeeping duties to ensure all areas of responsibility are safe, organized, clean, and tidy.



This includes but is not limited to, cleaning bathrooms emptying garbage’s, sweeping, cleaning spills, shoveling, etc.

n

· Other duties as assigned.

n

REQUIREMENTS

n· Able to lift heavy materials (up to 70lbs).n

· Able to work unsupervised.

n

· Strong Customer Service skills.

n

· Knowledge of store point or other operating systems an asset.

n

· Previous Gas Bar experience an asset.

n

· Able to work in all weather conditions and all shifts.

n

· Clean, Neat Appearance.

n

· Must have your propane certificate, or willing to acquire with training.

n

· Must be at least 16 years of age.

n

A COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE MAY BE CONSIDERED.
