We are seeking an experienced Truck Trailer Repair Shop Foreman / Lead Hand to lead daily shop operations and ensure high-quality, efficient repairs of commercial trailers. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows trailer systems inside and out and can manage technicians, workflow, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Supervise and support trailer repair technicians and shop staff
- Schedule, assign, and prioritize repair work to meet deadlines
- Inspect completed repairs to ensure quality and compliance
- Diagnose complex trailer issues and assist with repairs as needed




- Maintain shop safety standards and ensure OSHA compliance
- Coordinate parts, inventory, and equipment needs
- Communicate with management, customers, and vendors as needed
- Train, mentor, and evaluate technicians

Skills and Qualifications

n

- Licensed 310J Truck-Trailer Service Technician with minimum 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in the service department.
- 5+ years of commercial trailer repair experience
- Previous foreman, lead tech, or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and trailer systems
- (brakes, suspension, electrical, structural, refrigeration a plus)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a quick-paced shop environment
- Valid driver’s license
