Your New Company Our client, an award‑winning, innovative architectural practice known for delivering high‑quality projects across multiple sectors, is currently looking to hire a Project Manager to join their team to focus on retail/commercial projects.

Your New Role

n

You will be responsible for leading and coordinating multiple retail and commercial architectural projects simultaneously. Reporting to a Senior Project Manager, you will guide projects from construction through delivery, ensuring exceptional design execution, quality outcomes, and strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities include

n

- Managing multiple retail/commercial projects to ensure timely delivery and high‑quality results.
- Liaising with Construction Managers/General Contractors, clients/owners, and internal architectural teams throughout the construction phase.
- Performing site review visits to monitor construction quality and design adherence; preparing and distributing field reports.
- Coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to develop solutions aligned with brand identity and operational needs.
- Overseeing the preparation of architectural drawings, specifications, and documentation.
- Ensuring compliance with building codes, zoning bylaws, accessibility standards, and related regulations.
- Leading project scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning.
- Facilitating design reviews, approvals, and construction administration activities.




- Monitoring progress and resolving issues to maintain schedules and budgets.

Need to Succeed To thrive in this role, you bring strong architectural expertise, exceptional communication skills, and proven experience leading project workflows.

Qualifications include

n

- 5–8 years of architectural experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a project coordination or management role.
- Experience in retail/commercial projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, including spelling and grammar.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- OAA License is an asset.
- Highly organized with robust communication and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and MS Office.
