Duties

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their selections

- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate cash handling and transactions
- Manage cashiering duties with efficiency and accuracy, including processing payments and giving change
- Upsell bakery items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Restock shelves and display cases regularly to ensure product availability
- Assist in food handling procedures following proper safety protocols
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy hours
- Support other team members as needed to ensure smooth bakery operations

Qualifications

- Previous experience in food service or retail, especially in a bakery or restaurant setting, is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, handling, and safety standards in the food industry
- Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus

- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
