Versatile Loader (M/F)

YOUR MISSION OF EXCELLENCE

As a versatile loader, you will work under varying weather conditions to secure tanks on trailers within scheduled timeframes, while ensuring compliance with transport regulations.

n

WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH

n

Shipping Clerk

n

- Verify the load according to the order specificationsn

- Prepare platforms and load merchandise following safety rules and careful handling procedures

n

- Ensure full trailer loads with the correct finished products identified on the order

n

- Assist with proper securing and strapping of loads

n

- Organize finished products (tanks) in the outdoor yard according to a set plan

n

- Perform visual inspections of forklift condition (weekly inspection log)

n

- Clean and maintain orderly storage areas

n

- Handle raw materials upon receipt

n

- Prepare tank orders for pickup

n

- Package tanks in groups of 2, 3, or 4

n

- Prepare tanks for loading according to a list

n

- Replenish packing materials at stations (pallets, foam, etc.)

n

- Store hazardous materials awaiting disposal (external pickup)

n

- Complete training as a Shipping Clerk and cover absences as needed

n

Shipping Clerk Duties

n

- Determine truck loading order based on TSX Transport and production prioritiesn

- Scan tanks required for each order and the designated trailers

n

- Verify order accuracy before shipment

n

- Complete trailer compliance paperwork for C-TPAT certification

n

- Generate customs documents and send them to TSX

n

- Have drivers complete load paperwork

n





- Assist in loading and securing commercial tanks with the help of the handler

n

- Deliver daily shipping paperwork to customer service

n

- Communicate with the distribution center regarding product transit

n

- Notify supervisor and TSX of any loading delays

n

- Analyze next day’s orders to prepare a list of special packages for packing

n

Handler Duties

n

- Prepare trailers and materials required for loadingn

- Follow quality and safety procedures established by the employer

n

- Ensure safe loading of merchandise

n

- Secure groups of tanks on trailers

n

- Rearrange unpackaged tanks on trailers to maximize space according to specifications

n

- Prepare tank orders for pickup

n

- Sort wooden pallets by condition and size
