Position Summary

nAs the Seasonal Visitor Experience & Operations Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering a welcoming and engaging experience for visitors, partners, and community members at Discover Saskatoon. Based primarily at the Visitor Centre, this role supports front-line visitor services, day-to-day operations, and in-market activations across the city.n

Working collaboratively across teams, you will serve as a knowledgeable ambassador for Saskatoon by providing personalized recommendations, supporting membership and partner initiatives, and contributing to events and activations. Your ability to deliver strong customer service, stay organized, and adapt in a dynamic environment will help showcase Saskatoon as a destination of choice.

- Customer Service Delivery: Provide welcoming, knowledgeable, and personalized service to visitors in person, by phone, and by email.
- Destination Knowledge: Share accurate and engaging information about Saskatoon’s attractions, events, dining, and experiences.
- Retail & Promotion:



Promote and sell Visitor Centre products, sharing the stories behind local goods and their connection to the destination.
- Hospitality & First Impressions: Serve as a professional and approachable first point of contact for visitors, partners, and community members.

nOperations & Coordinationn

- Visitor Centre Operations: Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked Visitor Centre, including brochures, retail inventory, and supplies.
- Administrative Support: Assist with meeting room setup, office coordination, supply monitoring, and vendor support.
- Data & CRM Tracking: Accurately track visitor interactions and maintain CRM entries and member records.
- Promotional Support: Prepare and distribute promotional materials and support operational needs across teams.

nMembership & Stakeholder Supportn

- Membership Coordination: Support onboarding activities, respond to general inquiries, and assist with maintaining the online event calendar.
- Event Preparation: Provide logistical and material support for membership meetings and engagement initiatives.
- Stakeholder Interaction: Build positive relationships with members, partners, and community stakeholders.

nEvents & In-Market Activationn

- Event Execution: Support planning and on-site delivery of events and activations, including setup, takedown, and coordination.
- Destination Representation: Represent Discover Saskatoon at events, airport activations, and partner locations as a welcoming and informed ambassador.
