Position Summary The position holder welcomes and efficiently responds to customer needs in the lumber yard in a personalized and courteous manner. They verify the accuracy of orders and handle complaints and returns. They receive merchandise from various suppliers using a forklift.

They restock shelves, manage inventory, and monitor for damages. Additionally, they are responsible for maintaining the yard by keeping service areas clear of debris, waste, and snow, and by adhering to health and safety standards and procedures.

Knowledge and training requirementsn
- Knowledge of building materials is an asset;
- Hold a forklift operator's license and propane card, an asset;
- Hold a Class G driver's license, an asset;
- Have a good command of the English and french language, both oral and written.

- Salary offered according to experience and internal equity;
- Weekday and Saturday shifts.

Le titulaire du poste accueille et répond efficacement aux besoins des clients dans la cour à bois de façon personnalisée et courtoise. Il confirme l’exactitude des commandes et procède au suivi des plaintes et des retours. Il réceptionne de la marchandise en provenance des divers fournisseurs à l’aide de chariot élévateur.

Il regarnit les étagères, assure la gestion des stocks et contrôle les bris. De plus, il est responsable d’entretenir la cour en maintenant les aires de service libres de tout résidu, débris, neige et respecte les normes et procédures reliées à la santé et sécurité au travail.

Connaissances et formations requisesn
- Avoir des connaissances en matériaux de construction, un atout;
- Détenir un permis d’opérateur de chariot élévateur et carte de propane, un atout;
- Détenir un permis de conduire classe 5, un atout;
- Avoir une bonne maîtrise de la langue française et anglaise, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit.
