Position Summary

We are seeking a versatile, "hands-on" individual to join our team as a Store Maintenance & Assembly Associate. This role is perfect for a jack-of-all-trades who enjoys variety and takes pride in fixing, building, and maintaining equipment and displays. You will be responsible for ensuring the store remains functional, secure, and visually appealing for our customers and staff.

Core Responsibilities
Product Assembly: Assemble a wide variety of store products for floor displays or customer orders, including barbecues, patio furniture, exercise equipment, and seasonal displays.
General Repairs: Perform basic "handyman" repairs throughout the facility, addressing minor issues related to hardware, fixtures, and store equipment.
Preventative Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections of store facilities and equipment to identify and resolve potential issues before they escalate.
Technical Support: Utilize basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks to assist with minor store improvements and fixture installs.
Safety & Organization:



Maintain a clean and organized workspace/shop and ensure all tools and equipment are handled according to safety standards.

Requirements & Qualifications
Technical Aptitude: Proven experience using a variety of hand and power tools with a robust mechanical inclination.
Broad Knowledge Base: Practical, "real-world" understanding of general hardware, basic electrical (e.g., changing bulbs/ballasts), and minor plumbing.
Problem-Solving: The ability to look at a broken item or a complex assembly manual and determine the most efficient way to complete the job.
Physical Capability: Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy merchandise (up to 50 lbs or more) and stay active on your feet throughout the shift.
Independence: Highly self-motivated with the ability to manage a "to-do" list with minimal direct supervision.
Safety Mindset: Strict adherence to safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
