Position Summary The City of Fort Saskatchewans Recreation Department is currently recruiting a dynamic individual to serve our patrons at Harbour Pool.

Reporting to the Clerk III Aquatics, the Customer Service Representative will receive admission fees, welcome clients, and answer inquiries from the public (both in person and by telephone).

Also, handling registrations, facility bookings correspondence and filing, and supporting Instructor/Guards when they require assistance either on or off deck.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Cashier Receive admission fees, balance cash, and prepare deposits and sales of retail products.

Registrations Register patrons for swim lessons, membership passes and courses.

Facility Bookings Book rental packages for the Pool and Multi-Purpose Room for patrons and provide information on party packages.

Receptionist Welcome patrons, answer phones, handle inquiries, and provide information on programs and other services offered.

Janitorial Maintain facilities appearance; ensure cleanliness in main lobby and front desk area.

First Aid Respond to all minor and major first aid situations.

Qualifications Candidates must possess a High School Diploma, be accurate in handling cash receipts, and have knowledge working in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Word, Excel, Publisher, and Outlook.

Previous experience with Intelli

Leisure software is considered an asset.

The successful incumbent will have a positive work attitude and possess exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.

Preference will be given to those with the current Intermediate First Aid Certificate with Level C CPR.





The successful candidate will be required to attend mandatory staff training sessions throughout the year.

This position is within the scope of C.U.P.E.

Local 30, and as such, you will be required to adhere to the articles contained within the Collective Agreement.

The successful candidate will provide a Police Security Clearance with a Vulnerable Sector Check upon hire.

Hours of Work: Varying day, evening and weekend shifts.

Preference will be given to those who have open availability.
