Role Summary

We’re looking for a hardworking, safety-focused Hydrovac Labourer to join our crew! If you enjoy hands-on work, being part of a tight-knit team, and don’t mind working outdoors in all kinds of weather — this could be the role for you.You’ll be the right-hand support to our Hydrovac Operators, helping keep job sites safe, efficient, and running smoothly. No two days are the same, and you’ll head home knowing you put in a solid day’s work.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Set up job sites and Vac Trucks for maximum efficiency and safety
- Assist Hydrovac Operators — anticipating needs before they arise
- Set up and take down hoses and tubes for excavations
- Support remote hose setup as required
- Pressure washing and flagging operators
- Signal and guide vehicles and equipment safely into position
- Assist with daily vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Conduct job site safety evaluations and preventative measures
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and assist with minor repairs
- Support CCTV Camera Operators (raising/lowering, set-up and take down)




- General clean-up and maintenance of units and shop
- Communicate professionally with team members and customers
- Follow all safety requirements under the PEI Occupational Health & Safety Act, General Regulations, and company Safety Management System
- Identify and report health and safety concerns
- Perform other duties as required to keep the job moving

What This Job Requires

This is a physically demanding position. The work involves:

- Bending, crouching, kneeling, lifting, and working on your feet for extended periods
- Working outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, wind — we work in it all!)
- Some evening and weekend on-call work as needed
- Long shifts depending on project requirements

What You Bring to the Team

- Previous hydrovac, vacuum truck, trucking, or related experience (preferred)
- Experience in labour-intensive roles
- Robust attention to detail
- A reliable, strong work ethic
- Mechanical inclination (considered an asset)
- Positive, goal-oriented attitude
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Commitment to safety at all times
- Reliable and dependable
- Valid driver’s license
- Must have your own reliable transportation to and from Fredericton, PE
