Retail Sales Associate – Ivan’s Camera

Ivan’s Camera is coming to Charlottetown this summer, and we’re excited to grow our team! We’re looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate who enjoys working with customers and loves retail sales.

You don’t need to be a photography expert to apply—an interest in photography is a bonus but not required. We’re happy to train the right person. What matters most to us is a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and a genuine interest in helping people find the right products.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your day will be a mix of customer service, sales, and basic store operations, including:

- Getting the store ready for opening
- Creating displays and merchandising products
- Welcoming customers and answering questions
- Recommending and demonstrating products
- Completing sales and processing payments
- Closing the store and balancing cash at the end of the day

What We’re Looking For

- Comfortable communicating in English (spoken and written)
- Friendly, confident, and people-oriented
- Comfortable using technology and point-of-sale systems
- Retail experience is an asset, but not required

Position Details





- Full-time position (40 hours per week)
- Availability to work Saturdays on a rotating schedule is required
