About the Role

As a 2nd Cook, you’ll assist with daily food preparation and production, ensuring all

dishes meet resort standards for quality, freshness, and presentation. You’ll work closely

with our chefs to keep the kitchen running smoothly while contributing to a positive

guest experience.

What You’ll Do

- Prepare, cook, and present dishes to resort standards

- Assist with requisitioning, receiving, storing, and rotating food supplies

- Maintain food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness

- Help coordinate preparation and service timing with the team

- Report equipment issues or maintenance needs

- Train and support new employees in the kitchen

- Minimize food waste and ensure proper stock control

- Leave your station clean, organized,



and stocked at end of shift

- Be willing to work at any station or prepare dishes in front of guests when

required

- Support resort policies, procedures, and service standards

What We’re Looking For

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a rapid-paced kitchen

- Cooks Training Certificate preferred

- Food Safe certification required; First Aid and WHMIS are assets

- Strong knowledge of recipes, menus, and costing

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work well under pressure

- Strong communication skills in English (multilingual is an asset)

- Team player who can also work independently and take direction well

- Flexible with scheduling
