Primary Care Clinic has four exam rooms and offers extended hours providing opportunities for patient appointments from 8:30 am – 7:30 pm Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and statutory holidays.

Island Health is actively recruiting more providers to offer this key primary care service. This clinic offers flexibility, competitive provider service contracts, a team-base care model and the opportunity to be part of a vital primary care service in the Campbell River community.

The clinic is located at 381 2nd Avenue adjacent to the North Island Hospital - Campbell River; it is staffed with MOAs, nurses and providers working in a collaborative care approach.
n
No overhead contribution by physician to clinic.
n
Benefits
nMay be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA), such as:n
- Recruitment Incentive (pro-rated) $10,000
- Relocation Costs Reimbursement up to $15,000 (amount based on location relocating from)
- Fee Premium 6.09%
- Annual Flat Fee $9,437.76
- Rural CME: starting at $2,200/annum for years 3 and 4 in the community, increasing to $4,400/annum after 4 years.
