Sweet — I’m currently looking for 2-3 additional PCAs to join my care team. Successful candidates are responsible, reliable(!!!), & fun folks who encourage my independence, ensuring to respect my household and requests. NO EXPERIENCE OR CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED!

Previous experience in this field isn’t necessary, as most of the tasks I need performed day-to-day you already do for yourself (like getting dressed) and I’ll provide ongoing, PAID training for everything else!

What does a Personal Care Assistant do?

Basically,



my PCAs help me live (comfortably and efficiently) whilst preserving my dignity. Much like your personal life, every shift is a mix of routine and improv.

This may include:

n✧ personal care (hygiene, showering, washroom trips, dressing, feeding, transferring/positioning, etc.)n

✧ cooking/meal prep

n

✧ homemaking/organization

n

✧ cool stuff related to my freelance gigs

n

✧ accompanying me on outings—or quiet nights in with snacks + tv

n

✧ other ordinary (& sometimes extraordinary!) human activities

n

Qualities of a successful candidate

n

✧ punctual and reliable (I can’t emphasize this part enough!)

n

✧ detail-oriented

n

✧ willingness to learn and take direction

n

✧ critical thinker

n

✧ BONUS: possesses cooking and/or makeup skills!
