We are a dental practice in Picton, ON looking for a Certified Dental Assistant (II).

Picton Dental Centre provides needle-less dentistry, CBCT scans, same-day ceramic crowns, IV sedation, and clear aligners to the residents of Prince Edward County.

Our ideal candidate is reliable and has previous experience as a CDA Level II.

Some responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

· Setting up and preparing dental operating rooms.

· Following up with patients about outstanding treatment, laboratories about cases, and referrals to specialists

· Genuinely interacting with patients to ease their anxiety or fear

· Educating patients about their treatment and scheduling accordingly

· Chair-side assisting and charting

· Taking digital radiography, intra-oral photos, and extra-oral photos

· Taking down and preparing operatory for cleaning and disinfection

· Ensuring all instruments and equipment are in working condition





· Monitoring dental supply inventory on a daily basis

· Pouring & separating models

Requirements:

· Successful completion of Level II Dental Assistant from an accredited college

· Willingness to learn

· Experience with Dentrix is an asset

· Must be available to work Monday to Thursday 8:00-5:00 **Three-day weekends; 1-hour lunch**
