This is a permanent full-time position., Monday to Friday!

Responsibilities

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance mechanical work.
- Inspect school purpose vehicles for operational issues, diagnose and repair deficiencies.
- Inspections, repairs and maintenance on school purpose mini-buses and mini-vans.
- Ability to diagnose and knowledge of diagnostic tools an asset.
- Complete mechanical maintenance reports and work orders.
- Prepare parts lists required to complete repairs.
- All related tasks.

- Must be able to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing and interact professionally with other team members.
- Have strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Work without supervision, reliable, punctual, able to follow instructions
- Motivated, fast learning and dependable individual.

dynamic, and versatile.

Requirements

- Knowledge of diesel mechanics an asset.
- Valid 310T License or 310S
- Knowledge of hydraulic brakes.
- High school education or equivalent
- Valid “G” Drivers Licence
- Computer experience is an asset
- Basic set of hand tools; screw drivers, metric and SAE: wrenches & 3/8 & 1/2 socket set
