On-Call Cleaner / Patroller

Location: Kelowna, BC
Pay: $22.60/hour
Positions Available: 2 (Part-Time)

Position Overview

We are seeking reliable and motivated individuals to join our team as On-Call Cleaner/Patrollers. In this role, you will help maintain parking lots, parkades, and on-street areas while ensuring a positive experience for all clients of the City of Kelowna.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain and patrol parking lots, parkades, and on-street areas as required
- Ensure all locations meet City of Kelowna cleanliness and safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service and assist the public with parking information and payment methods
- Issue accurate and legitimate bylaw offence notices
- Report vehicles listed for towing to the office
- Identify and report deficiencies related to safety, appearance, equipment, and lighting




- Work collaboratively with team members
- Fill in for other roles when required
- Clean parking facilities to maintain a positive first impression
- Comply with City of Kelowna parking regulations, including use of personal vehicle
- Follow all uniform and company policy guidelines

Qualifications & Skills

- Strong customer service skills with a skilled and polite approach
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Basic computer and math skills
- Ability to work outdoors and walk for extended periods in all weather conditions
- Valid Canadian driver’s licence with a clean driver abstract
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
