We are seeking a friendly and effective Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions accurately. Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases
- Process transactions accurately using the cash register
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments with precision
- Maintain an organised checkout area and ensure it is stocked with necessary supplies
- Upsell products and services to enhance customer experience
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
- Assist in merchandising activities to promote products effectively




- Ensure compliance with company policies regarding cash handling and security

Skills

- Solid communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual abilities (especially Spanish) are advantageous
- Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing
- Excellent time management skills to handle peak periods efficiently
- Organisational skills to maintain an orderly workspace
- Proficient phone etiquette for customer interactions over the phone
- Experience in upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities
