Your Role:

As a Personal Support Worker (PSW), you’ll be a vital part of our team, providing compassionate, skilled care to residents in a community setting. You’ll assist with daily living activities and make a positive impact on those who rely on your support.

You may be asked to complete any of the following tasks: Feeding, dressing, bathing, transferring, incontinence care, meal preparation, medication reminders, transportation assistance, light housekeeping, and general companionship.

We’re Looking For Someone Who Has:

✔ Personal Support Worker Certificate from an accredited college in Canada (or relevant certificate and experience)

✔ Personal vehicle and driver’s license
✔ Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification




✔ Minimum of 6 months of PSW experience in community, long-term care, or hospital settings
✔ Caring, empathetic, and respectful approach to patients
✔ Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
✔ Flexibility to adapt to current environments
✔ Decision-making skills to ensure timely, effective care
✔ Basic computer skills for correspondence and documentation
✔ Experience with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, feeding, and transferring patients safely

Additional Assets:

✔ Gentle Persuasive Approach (GPA)
✔ Crisis Prevention Training (CPI)
✔ Experience with patient manual/electric lifts
✔ Food Handler Certificate
✔ Experience providing companionship to patients

Requirements:

- Reliable transportation
- Proof of immunizations (Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, COVID-19, Influenza)
- N95 Mask Fit Test Certificate
- Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check
