Construction Labourer – Pools & Hardscape

Location: New Minas, Nova Scotia

Start Date: April 2026

Compensation: $18 - $23/hour (based on experience)

ROLE SUMMARY:

Working from our New Minas headquarters, days start at 8AM, working with a construction crew for pool and hardscape‑related projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:





- Assist with construction tasks

- Handle tools and materials, in whatever way to assist the crew in preparing for, or completing each project

- Maintain site organization and safety.

- Be a positive team member on the crew

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Physically capable with the ability to work in the summer heat, as well as the chilly spring and fall

- Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds

- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driver abstract is an asset

- Willingness to learn

ADVANCEMENT:

This position is fulltime seasonal, from April to November, with the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities for someone that shows the skills and aptitude to be a strong member of the team.
