Construction Foreman – Pools & Hardscape

Location: New Minas, Nova Scotia

Start Date: April 2026

Compensation: $22 - $30/hour (based on experience)

ROLE SUMMARY:

Working from our New Minas headquarters, days start at 8AM, leading a construction crew for pool and hardscape‑related projects. This role strengthens leadership succession within the company, with career advancement potential over time.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Lead by example,



with strong daily site operations and construction

- Coordinate crew tasks and sequencing

- Maintain quality, safety, and project timelines

- Mentor crew members, while also continuing to learn the pool construction trade

- Communicate with customers and internal coordinators

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Foreman or lead hand experience

- Experience in pool, concrete, excavation, plumbing, electrical, hardscape, or transferable skillset

- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driver abstract

- Strong leadership skills

- Professional customer communication

- Ability to work in the summer heat, as well as the chilly spring and fall

- Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds.

ADVANCEMENT:

This position is fulltime seasonal, from April to November, with the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities for someone that shows the skills and aptitude to be a strong member of the team.
