Unionville Home Society (UHS) is a not-for-profit charitable organization located in Unionville that has provided leadership in service to seniors since 1967. Unionville Home Society and its affiliate corporations operate a long-term care home, seniors' housing, a seniors' active living center, an adult day program, and geriatric outreach services. Our mission is to engage our communities through a continuum of services that enhance the experience of aging. Position

Brief Summary: Under the direction of the Manager of the Adult Day Program & Geriatric Outreach Services, the GOT Admin/Intake Coordinator plays a pivotal role at Unionville Home Society. You will have the opportunity to deliver administrative services to support the Geriatric Outreach Team.

Essential Job Functions:

·Implements and supports Geriatric Outreach Service (GOS) processes in a productive and efficient manner

·Sets agenda for communication meetings, takes and prepares minutes

·Engages with community partners and provides updated GOT service information.

Qualifications

· High school diploma and/or Administrative Assistant certificate from an accredited college

· Empathetic attitude and desire to contribute towards the well-being of seniors

·Organizational skills to manage timetables and responsibilities

·Ability to exercise good judgment, tact and diplomacy

·Empathetic attitude and desire to contribute towards the well-being of seniors





·Written and verbal communication skills related to the position

·Positive interpersonal skills

·Experience in long term care setting is an asset
