AI risk oversight meets hybrid working at Lloyds Banking Group, where you will support reviews, controls, and governance across AI systems. As an Assistant Manager in the Model Risk Office, you will contribute to AI governance across Bristol, Halifax, Cardiff, Edinburgh, or Leeds. The full-time hybrid pattern requires at least two days weekly at an office site. Your work will involve model risk, AI/ML and GenAI risks, communication, and cross-functional collaboration. You will help strengthen oversight alongside Data Risks, Cyber and Security, Supplier Management, and Conduct teams. Key Responsibilities:





Support oversight reviews across AI system lifecycle stages Evaluate control effectiveness and identify AI risks Monitor AI usage and flag governance gaps Document and communicate risk issues to stakeholders Track regulatory updates and support impact assessments Requirements:

Experience in model risk, AI governance, compliance, or technology risk Foundational understanding of AI/ML and GenAI risks Explicit communication of technical risk findings Exposure to AI or technology risk frameworks Familiarity with second-line risk or oversight functions Support Lloyds Banking Group’s AI governance through risk reviews, assurance controls, regulatory awareness, and clear stakeholder communication.
