Lead Canadian Tire Corporation’s promotions strategy using pricing, analytics, and customer insights across a complex retail enterprise. Shape programs that influence value perception and financial performance. As Assistant Vice President, you will translate enterprise priorities into annual promotional plans and coordinated delivery. You will guide offer and price selection, promotional calendars, Triangle loyalty integration, and Digital activation. The mandate includes weekly programs, key events, non-product promotions, and True North price value transformation. You will also strengthen governance, automation, and performance management while building a high-performing Promotions organization. Key Responsibilities:

Set promotional depth, frequency, placement, and incentive approaches Lead product and price decisions for key promotional events Manage calendars across categories, channels,



and enterprise priorities Establish dashboards, operating rhythms, and escalation paths Coach leaders and strengthen analytics, storytelling, and judgment Requirements:

Eight to ten years of progressive leadership experience Experience in promotions, pricing, merchandising, or retail strategy Degree in business or related discipline, or equivalent experience Understanding of promotional levers, loyalty mechanics, and calendar planning Experience with promotional ROI, incrementality, margin, and AI tools Shape Canadian Tire promotions through strategic pricing, customer insight, disciplined governance, and high-performing team leadership.
