Be a part of Aecon as a Dry Utility Modeler located in Toronto, ON. This role will engage in creating and maintaining 3D models for various essential utility infrastructures.As a key player in the Utility Design team, you will support projects like the Hamilton LRT by developing accurate 3D models of dry utility infrastructure, including telecommunications and street lighting systems. This position involves collaboration with multiple teams, ensuring that models meet design requirements and are free of clashes.



You'll also extract essential documentation from your models to guide construction activities effectively.Key Responsibilities:Develop detailed 3D models for dry utility infrastructureConvert and integrate 2D drawings and existing utility recordsEngage in combined model development for coordinationConduct model reviews and constructability assessmentsMaintain data integrity and quality throughout modelingRequirements:Diploma or related degree in Engineering Technology2-5+ years in utility design and CAD/BIM modelingProficient in Civil 3D and AutoCAD, Revit is an assetStrong attention to detail and communication skillsAbility to meet deadlines effectivelyJoin Aecon and use your skills to enhance Toronto's utility infrastructure projects.
