About the RoleFull-time Support Staff – 3‑month contract. Reporting to the Associate Registrar, Recruitment, the Student Recruitment Officer (SRO) will work within a team environment and play an significant role in Nipissing University’s recruitment activities, as part of the front‑line team responsible for building awareness and growing enrolment at the institution.Key ResponsibilitiesTravel throughout Ontario to spread awareness of Nipissing University, including participating in the Ontario Universities Fair in late September and the Fall Open House in October.Create meaningful and informative relationships and engage in correspondence and follow‑up with internal and external contacts including prospective students, supporters, guidance counsellors, teachers, professors and other university representatives.Engage in regular evening and weekend work, with shift times rotating and flexible to meet departmental needs.RequirementsUndergraduate university degree, preferably from Nipissing University.One to two years of relevant advising experience in customer service and/or student recruitment.Valid Full G class Ontario driver’s licence.Current criminal record check/vulnerable sector check, with no convictions requiring a pardon.CompensationPosition classified at Wage Grade 50, hourly wage ranging from $27.11 (Step 1) to $34.35 (Step 9),
