As a Senior Compliance Associate on the Financial Intelligence Unit Scale Team, you will support scalable operations across products and jurisdictions. Your work will span transaction monitoring frameworks, workflow automation, investigative tooling, and regulatory expectations under BSA/AML regimes. Collaboration with Product, Engineering, Operations, Compliance leadership, vendors, and technology teams is central to the role. Key Responsibilities:
Test rules, tune thresholds,
and design monitoring scenarios Drive automation and workflow improvements across FIU processes Evaluate LLM and AI-enabled compliance tools Support vendor integrations and monitoring infrastructure improvements Design scalable strategies for products, regions, and transaction volumes Requirements:
5+ years in AML, financial crime compliance, or FIU operations 3+ years designing, testing, and tuning monitoring rules Experience with compliance tooling and investigative workflows Robust analytical and data interpretation skills Blockchain analytics familiarity, including Chainalysis, TRM Labs, or Elliptic Apply transaction monitoring, automation, and analytical expertise to strengthen Payward’s scalable financial intelligence operations across evolving markets.
