Supervise safe recreational skating and hockey programs as a Senior Skate Patrol with the City of Burlington, working in person across city sites.This seasonal, fixed-term, part-time position runs from November 2026 through March 2027. Reporting to the Coordinator or Manager, you will oversee ice safety, program logistics, participant supervision, and front-line service. The work requires vigilance, rule enforcement, equipment monitoring, and timely administration.Key Responsibilities:Supervise recreational and hockey drop-in programming for ice safetyMaintain protected, enjoyable, and inclusive program environmentsEnforce skating facility policies, regulations, and program rulesSet up and take down program areas and equipmentReport concerns, accidents, and incidents to supervisorsRequirements:Be at least 16 years of ageHold current Intermediate First Aid CPR C certificationMaintain complete vigilance while supervising participantsEnsure required personal protective equipment, including helmets, is usedComplete incident reports and administrative duties promptlyBring ice safety, participant supervision, customer service, and emergency readiness to Burlington's seasonal skating programs across the city.
