Our client is looking for a Junior Project Estimator to join their team. This position plays an important role in translating creative design ideas into accurate cost projections. Responsibilities include reviewing architectural drawings and 3D models, examining past production and fabrication records, and using established company pricing methods to develop estimates that support projects throughout every stage, from initial planning through final contract delivery.

Responsibilities:

- Partner with cross-functional teams to transform preliminary cost ranges and 2D concepts into highly accurate, finalized budgets by leveraging 3D modeling data and technical engineering feedback
- Develop precise, definitive project quotes directly from 3D design files by systematically compiling material counts, third-party vendor bids, shipping logistics, and workforce hourly rates.
- Adhere to company pricing guides, internal databases, and estimation tools to ensure consistency and profitability across all bids.




- Conduct post-project financial audits and job costing reviews to compare actual expenditures against original estimates, identifying variances to improve future bidding precision.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

- 1+ years of junior estimation experience
- Formal post-secondary education in a relevant field, such as Construction Management or Architectural Design.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Aptitude for learning new tools and technologies to analyze models and extract relevant information.
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and track revisions accurately.
